CHOGM Partners
Bringing together one-third of the world's leaders for CHOGM is
a rewarding yet very complex task.
The Commonwealth Secretariat has a central role and works closely
with the Australian Government and the Government's CHOGM 2002 Task
Force to ensure that the summit is appropriately resourced.
The Australian Government is grateful for the significant support
of the State Government of Queensland and the Maroochydore Shire
Council (Sunshine Coast).
CHOGM 2002 delegates, media representatives and support staff all
benefit from a range of services which have been contracted to deliver
necessary services. These include:

Adagold - lease of two
F100 aircraft to transport heads and delegates from Brisbane to
the Sunshine Coast Airport

AAPT - provision of a state-of-the-art
communications network

Avis - provision of a wide
range of vehicles to transport heads, delegates, media and support
staff. Avis has developed a special CHOGM vehicle
rate.

Symantec - the world leader
in Internet security technology, provides client, gateway and server
security solutions for virus protection, firewall and virtual private
network, vulnerability management, intrusion detection, Internet
content and e-mail filtering, remote management technologies and
security services.
