Allan Langer Clothing Produces a First

A prominent Brisbane clothing company will produce the first ever comprehensive range of official merchandise for a Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

Allan Langer Clothing is manufacturing polo shirts, t-shirts, hats, umbrellas and other products which will be available in the Coolum CHOGM Media Centre to delegates and accredited media from across the Commonwealth.

"The opportunity to present our product designs to CHOGM delegates and media from around the world was all the incentive our company needed to become involved with this prestigious event," the General Manager of Allan Langer Clothing, John Crane, said today.

The merchandise ranges in price from $6.00 to $60.00, and from next Monday will also be available to the general public over the Internet via: www.chogm2002.org

The products, featuring the Coolum CHOGM logo, will help raise the Sunshine Coast's profile internationally, the Australian CHOGM spokesman, Andrew Reynolds said.

"The Task Force welcomes Allan Langer Clothing's good will, particularly as this will be by far the biggest range of merchandise for a CHOGM and it will undoubtedly help to promote Queensland's Sunshine Coast," Mr Reynolds said.

CHOGM 2002 will be held on the Sunshine Coast from 2-5 March.
